Let me introduce myself

Hi Connie from Washington...you, too, can have a long arm. It doesn't have to be a commercial length....there's the HQ16, the Tin Lizzie, and others out there. Google 'em. I get more pleasure from the quilting than the piecing. I know that's rare, but I piece for the public, too, so the quilting part....just me, the machine and the creativity....are my favorites. But I agree with you, keep the art alive. It kind of died off in the 60's and 70's, I think.

Hi AnnT from Germany. Are you a native or our military based overseas? Germany is so beautiful. Was there in the late 60's as a military wife stationed in Vicenza, Italy. We took a weekend and went over to Germany. Barbara (Grandby's Quilts)

Hi Pennsylvania....home to Amish quilting! Haven't been to your state in over 10 years but had a blast going through the Lancaster and shopping for my store product at the Amish homes. I haven't figured out how to add photos yet. Especially to my login. It still says New User. Guess that stays on there for 2 weeks. But will as soon as I have the time to figure it out. Thanks for posting to me.

Hi Great, great Grannie from Liberty Hill (which I drive through once a month to visit my Mom). Thanks for your sweet commenets. Actually, I have learned more than I knew by watching these posts. Am very inspired by all. I realize that I seem to learn SOMETHING new everyday! Some of the show quilts I see are awe inspiring, to say the least. Wonder when I'll have the time to quilt for myself? One day.
