    But in the old days our house WAS the lighthouse until they discovered all about the mercury poisonning dangers so they build another tower and put the lamp on it.

    Welcome to the board! I can understand why you retired your machines for awhile, but I think it's great you are ready to try quilting! That scrollsawing experience will probably prove to be very helpful, as well as your experience at the shirt factory. I hope you don't make us wait too long to see a project!
