Hello from New Hampshire
http://www.quiltingbythelake.com is the website for QBL that now meets in Syracuse. It's a 2 week summer program of workshops with national and international instuctors. It's gotten quite expensive but costs nothing to shop the vendors and see the show. The show is far and away the best.

Welcome from South Carolina. I am also a nurse and I quilt to relieve stress and express my "creative" side.

Welcome from East Tennessee, home of NASCAR races. You will love reading all the responses from the board members. They are generous with their tips and will answer your questions willingly. Some people guard all their information as if it were top-secret, but not here. Folks are only too glad to respond to your queries.

HI, another nurse, another newbie, love to be a new friend, have also been sewing since 10 to many years ago to say.
I think I have made 1000's of quilts in my head but am stiching in the ditch on my first one. I have a long way to go to even come close to some of the beautiful quilts here on the site. So if I even get a couple of those 1000's into true quilts I will be happy. So welcome from Washington State, getting cold. Suppose to be a bad winter for us this year.
