Howdy and welcome from Texas. Glad to have you with us. I think quilting should be just the trick for relaxing. Before I started quilting, I did a lot of needlepoint. My dh started needlepointing to relax. He even made a wall hanging for his office. He was quite proud to tell all the secretaries he'd made it himself. Of course, being Texas Tech grads, it was a TTU picture. Be sure and let us have a peek at your project(s).

Oh another man to tease...we LOVE the men here, cus they always seem to have the nicest fabrics...we're on a stash stealing mission on all the men here lol lol lol, yes, show pictures please, and welcome :)

A finished quilt is always stronger than a single hand sewn block. Each layer lends it's own strength and of course it gets quilted all together. I am most protective of my finished tops because it's all that work without the "protective binding and the backing to seal it all in there!
