I'm looking for 4"-5" blocks. I'm not really into piecing. I'm a beginner to quilting. I didn't know if I could take the cuttings for a 8" or 9" block and just cut them in 1/2. thanks

Hi! I'm from southern Minnesota. I'm new to quilting and computors. I'm starting out doing table runners and wall-hangings. The project I'm working on now is very special to me.I started this about 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with Ovarion cancer. It is redwork panels of snowmen. I don't want it as large as the patttern is,so I'm getting ideas how to finish it smaller. I want to be creative,that's why I'm looking for the mini patterns. I have visions of snowflakes... thanks

Welcome to the board! I am a miniaturist. I have shortcuts I use to get intricate looks in my minis. I have lots of quilt blocks I have designed. I use a 1 1/2" template to make a 6 1/2" quilt block but I also use 1 1/4" and 1" templates. If you are interested in looking here are the links for the Topics Lists
