Hi, everyone this is Quiltengrama here and I'm 60. Just started quilting a couple of years ago, Thanks to my sister. I first started by helping my Mother try and make a quilt for her church ruffle. I was a sewer than and knew nothing about the 1/4 seam, don't know if Mom did either. So as you can imagine how messed up the quilt was. It was a Dresden pattern. By the time Mom hand quilted each stich it was a year of her life, and very off centered to the backing. My sister came over and within a week had it looking wonderful, but Mom would not give such a "mess" to the church. We had a family raffle and she gave this money to her church, well over $700.00. My son won the raffel.
