I often wonder how many old sewing machines are tucked away
just waiting for someone to "wake them up"
Welcome from southern California!

Welcome! I sew on a Featherweight or a Singer 301a. Both purr like kittens. As many others have mentioned, I too, would like to see a picture. Nothing like an old machine! A treadle at that!! Good luck with it!

Forgot to add the Serial Number
AE333372
which I think dates it to 1936. I guess I am having problems adding a photo

Hello and welcome to this great board. I too just purchased a Singer treadle sewing machine and she needs work also. The cabinet is coming along great the treadle needs work plus many parts and the machine herself needs TLC. Hopefully she will work when hubby and I are finished with her. This board of knowledgeable quilters will help you out, they are the best .
