Welcome from the Minneapolis area! I lived in Appleton area for 9 years while I went to college and then started in the real world! Still have a lot of friends out that way and miss it!

Your log cabins are beautiful! I want to try one some time and both of yours are great!

Hi, Maryellen, and welcome! Wow, those two log cabin quilt tops are beautiful! You obviously have the piecing part down very well! They're going to make beautiful quilts. :D

Hello and welcome. My name is also Maryellen and I am from WI. Eau Claire. Funny thing, I make a quilt almost like your black and white cabin.

Thank you all for your warm welcome and comments about the quilts. The bright log cabin will be for my nephew's brand-new daughter's 1st birthday, in exactly one year! I'm working on another black/white log cabin right now, with the "logs" that were already cut and sitting out. Plus, it saved me from having to put them away!
