need some help from Cypress, Texas

Im still new with all this, I've made 2 quilts 1 for my brother and 1 for husband. now I'm "trying" to made one for our son who is serving with the service. I pray I can get it made before he leave stateside. Maybe if there is any one or more in my area and know what there doing there still be hope in me getting it finished

this is a picture of the quilt as you can see I am wayyyy out of my league. It called "the old patriot"

How far along are you? Do you have the blocks cut and pieced? I am assuming the quilt in the picture isn't yours?
