New from Atl area and I have a question...

Welcome from Tucker, GA! We're in the NE corner of Metro Atlanta, not far outside the Perimeter....and when you hear them say on the traffic report that Spaghetti Junction is backed up AGAIN...I'm close to that. You have a great quilt shop down near you in McDonough; A Scarlet Thread advertizes itself as the largest in the state and I can believe it! When you start shopping around and going to quilt shops, my LQS is Intown Quilters. Lots of brights and batiks. Again, welcome! Hope to see you at the next Meet-N-Greet!

What I have done is on about 6" squares, appliqued a large circle. It also had appliqued arcs on it, not the same square. I thought it would be perfect to work on at night when I'm tired but still want to do something. I usually buy the BHG Shop Hop issues and wondered if anyone having saved those issues would look and see if the pattern is in either the fall or spring 2010 issues. If I can't find the pattern I guess I'll just have to check out local stores and start another :)

I lived in PTC many years; my kids went to and graduated from McIntosh and Starr's Mill.I still have relatives there and visit "home"often. I plan to be in the areas weekend after next and would like to meet with you.I'm really new at quilting but not sewing, and have learned that the two don't necessarily link!
