Can I ask where in sw Iowa you are? I lived in Farragut from 92-99. Then moved to Omaha for a while before moving back 'home' in south central Iowa.

I'm in Council Bluffs, Shelly :-) Although I am doing my best to plan a road trip to Winterset next weekend for the Fons and Porter warehouse sale  I lived and worked in Omaha/Bellevue/Elkhorn for many years and usually make a trip in each weekend. I keep hearing about the shop in Creston; one of the local Viking dealers and I are making a trip over there soon to check it out.

I live about 20 miles from Winterset. I seen on another thread that someone had gotten fabric at a Ben Franklin store. I had thought I seen one in Winterset. So Friday I went over. They had more stuff in there than I figured they would. Then when I was backing out of my parking space, Fons and Porter! I had parked almost right in front of the store and not even seen it!!! I had no idea their store was in Winterset.

I don't know about the Creston shop. What's the name of it? Maybe I'll get over there sometime. I don't go that way often.

Shelly, welcome! I used to keep ferrets- they are wonderful (when not stealing).
