Hi Muriel,
Actually I'm at the other side of the state, northwest of Harrisburg. I have an Aunt and 2 cousins that live in New Castle PA, I try to get out to see them at least 2 or 3 times a year and my aunt quilts, too!!!

Hi, Kathi, and welcome! I'm relatively new to quilting as well, been doing it about 8 months now. But I get what you're saying about having the bug for it -- I'm definitely bitten, LOL! :D

Thank you in Norway!! Glad to be here. My grandmother was born in Liverpool England and moved to DuQuesne PA when she was very young, raised 7 boys and 1 girl and was married 52 years before my pap passed away and now she's gone too!! She used to make the bonecrusher quilts from wool suits and anything else available. Someday I plan on making one of those, too!!!
