Welcome from sunny Arizona! Wishing you the best with your BC recovery and don’t worry - you will bounce back from the radiation soon.

Hey Pam, Nice to meet another newbie. Yup I kicked cancer's butt and now I'm going to put my energies into learning more than I know now about quilting as soon as my body and mind can get it's act together! LOL. Thank you for the well wishes!

Hi SillySusan! Thank you for the prayers and well wishes. Beating cancer was no fun but I'm a tough old bird that refuses to be be sick or as my father in law says "Cancer you picked on the wrong Sarah!" Lol. Cracks me up every time! Lol. It's still a bumpy ride but it's getting better everyday. Sadly my jokes are still bad and I see no hope for them getting any better!

I can tell I'm really going to like being out here where I can live through everyone else's quilts until I can get back to sewing/quilting myself. I've already looked at some of the pics out here and almost crashed my laptop with drool! There are some very talented people here. Hope to see you around and thanks again for the kind welcome!

Thanks Nancy, I'm so glad to hear about you being a year out from diagnosis and cancer free!!! Woot Woot!! Yes it's been a real bumpy road trying to get back to a new normal physically, mentally and emotionally but I'm getting there one laugh at a time. But it's just so much slower than I thought it would be!! I'm so glad you understand what I mean because it seems like as soon as they announced that I was cancer free people thought it was all over. Nope! Lol. I still have treatment until August. I'm so glad for your post. Why? Lol. You made my day ladybug!!
