I started quilting October 2003. I've made a few but still having quilted my very first quilt which was a king size mystery quilt I did through an on line yahoo group. :)
I really need to get back to the sewing room.
I have so many hobbies I let many fall by the wayside.
I've attached my first quilt top.
Hoping some of you will get me on fire again,
Susie in northern NY
PS. Saint Lawrence County in NY gals PM me. :)

Hi Midge,
Ya I know. The last few days I have made some quilt squares so I can practice quilting. I've done it so little that it is less than pretty. :) I'm going to keep practicing.
Thanks for the compliment and push.
I have a brother in Webster and a son in Constantia. :)

It is such a lovely quilt, I do understand your delemia with other hobbies. I too have several hobbies and some days I want to work on them all and other days I don't want to see any of them. I have found when the time is right I somehow begin working on a project and before I know it, it is completed  I am trying to work with a mantra "Don't Think, Just Do" and most times it works :D Good luck

Thanks Nursesews for the compliment and you are so right about just doing. :) I can't get it in my head though that ten minutes is ok. I feel like I need the whole day. :)
