    Welcome from New York state! I agree with a previous poster, start with something small. Quilting can be very precise, but there are many different patterns to pick from. Just because it's small won't mean its without challenges though. I hope you find what you're all looking for! There will be lots of inspiration here for sure! Welcome to the wonderful world of quilting!

    Another welcome from Virginia. I started with potholders. What can I say I was very chicken. I still have a bunch of placemats to go. I found a wonderful quilt club in my area that has helped a lot.
