Wow, thank you all for the warm welcome! It is much appreciated! You all are a right friendly bunch! :D

Someone asked about what part of Arkansas I'm in - it's Benton, AR, which is about 20 minutes SW of Little Rock (central part of the state).

Also, someone asked about what pattern I've picked out for my first project. I'll start a thread over in the Pics forum along with my colors, and also some pics of our sewing room. I think I saw somewhere in this topic that you all like pics? :mrgreen:

Hello from Oregon! YES! We Love pictures! What a great thing for you to share a hobbie with your wife and daughter! My daughter is not interested in sewing-she said I can teach her children someday :lol: It better be someday! After college!!
