New here!

Howdy everyone!

just joined up to learn a bit. My mother in law is big into quilting so seems like a good way to figure it out and get tips for gifts and such. I have done a few sewing projects but nothing nearly like a quilt....at least yet

Hi Gregory! If you've sewn before, then you can piece! Piecing is 1/2 of making a quilt! Piecing is mostly about sewing straight stitches! Welcome to the QB from New York state!

Welcome from Oregon. One of the first sewers I ever knew was my dad. He made our clothes and doll clothes. He even made me an outfit when I was in high school.
