Welcome from Shipshewana Indiana and Laconia New Hampshire! This board is great with assistance and inspiration.....as well as the internet. Just google any quilting question and you will receive lots of step by step instruction by text and/or video. Welcome and good luck!

Welcome from California! You can find help here - and there are many tutorials on Youtube. There are many people on this board that are self taught. I learned to do the binding from a book. You could also ask at your local fabric store. I've gone into Joann's and just asked customers questions before. (It was easy to spot the quilters, they are buying lots of cotton. LOL!!!) I want to encourage you to go for it and get it done!

Hello from Central Indiana.
Get a good book to help you - Fons and Porter, Alex Anderson then start on something small and before you know it, you will move on to bigger projects. You-tube is also a good source and you can always ask for help here on the Board
