Hello, I am Kelly. I am new this board and to quilting. I have been sewing here and there for a few years, but recently fell in love with quilting. I seem to make more plans than take action so I'm hoping to be inspired by you all. I've seen some pretty amazing pieces! Please be patient with me... I'm bound to ask some dumb questions. ;)

I know what you mean by planning/not producing........it's a downfall of many of us! Also, the only "dumb" question is one not asked so don't "not" ask something because you're afraid it'll be judged. More than likely it's been asked before.

Welcome from Wisconsin!!

Quilting is a continual learning experience. I learn every day. No question is dumb. We have all been there at one stage of our life or another. My first quilt was made for a woman who's son was in Iraq. I made it to comfort her. It's under a spot light in her entryway. On her living room wall is a king size quilt hanging that her mother made which is perfect. But my first attempt holds the spotlight. Every quilt is perfect. There are no quilt police here. Just very helpful men and women who will answer you honestly even when they are not sure of the answers. Enjoy your stay here. There's alot to read and see. Welcome from Ohio. Cheryl
