Hi, my name is Dee Dee and I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee. I'm just learning to machine quilt and loving it. I have joined a quilt club called: The Elm Creek Quilts. We are going to try to make a quilt from all the quilts out of the books. Maybe I will be able to show you what I have done. In the mean time. I need all the help I can get. I have really enjoyed reading all the tips and problems. Some I have already encountered. So anytime you have something to share with me. Please feel free to do so.

Good morning and welcome from the north east. Are you quilting with a long arm machine or a sewing machine? I only hope some day to own a long arm machine, so my regular machine will have to do in the mean time. :D

Machine for right now. Just learning. So all this is new to me. Thanks for getting back to me. By any chance do you know how to do the LeMoyer Star. I can't seem to get it right. I have made this thing 4 times and not any of them are right.
Love hearing from you. Thank again.

Hi and Thank you all for the great response. This is a great site and I have really enjoyed Looking and reading all the interesting things you ladies have to say. I've even printed some of them off and put them in my note book.
This book is for thinks that I might need some where down the line. Thanks again for the good advice and the warm welcome.

I would make this using half square triangles to avoid the Y seams. Post here or PM me if you aren't familiar with how to change this into half square triangles.
