My name is Deb, from nw OH. I have been making quilts for about 20 years. I tend to hand piece them, so I can carry them with me, but I have never attempted to quilt them on my own; I usually take them to a local quilter with a long-arm machine for the quilting. Luckily for me, they always turn out better when they are done, than how I imagine they will look when I start the quilt.
I never go anywhere without finding a quilt store to look for fabrics and ideas. I have been in all 50 states, and am amazed at the variety of fabrics, quilts on display, and all the books with new ideas. There is a large quilt show every year in April, about 20 miles from my home, and I make it a point to go there every year.
I have only received 2 newsletter so far, but the amount of information is phenomenal. Love the pictures of finished quilts.
