    Hello everyone. I am new to the site today, but have been reading for a few days.

    I live in the wilds of western Nebraska and we are flatlanders. We are surrounded by cows and cornfields. When I get bored with the wide open spaces, I go to NYC to visit my daughter.

    I've been stuff-gathering for several years, and quilting for a couple of years. I am a firm believer that a quilter must have a well-stocked stash.

    I am going to enjoy learning from all of you that have more experience than me - which is practically everyone.

    Gathering our stash seems to be an all consuming passion us for quilters! I can't stand to give any of it up! I want it all! Don't need any more, but still go looking and some always follows me home!

    Hello from Illinois. My husband grew up in Grand Island. His grandparents were in McCook. We have family scattered about your state.

    I'm sure you will enjoy the board. It can be quite addictive!

    Are you in the panhandle? I lived in Scottbluff/Gering and still have inlaws there.
