Another hello and welcome, I'm waving from a safe personal space away near Seattle.
Some Brothers were for specific markets, so the model I got at Costco for example had a slightly different combinations of letters but the numbers were the same. That was a nice little machine, I used it as a portable/class machine for about 5-7 years. Recently during lockdown both my fancy Bernina and my basic vintage machine were having issues and needed repairs. I was using a really low end Brother for the last several months of quilting and mask making and it did just fine. It doesn't have everything I want, and it won't last forever but it had everything I needed.

Welcome to the QB for SE Michigan. Glad to have you join us here. We have a good number of Vintage Machine lovers here so someone should be able to give you a lead on your machines. I have 3 newer Brothers, by that I mean within the last 15 years. My, my how, time flies! Keep checking back in about your machines. Jump right in and join the fun. There is something new here everyday. Again welcome to the QB!
