I am a newbee in NJ, North West, Warren County near the PA border. Would love to hear from others nearby, a very good friend got me interested in quilting, just working on my first quilt for my granddaugther, 4" squares in pinks and greens, she will love it. I am machine stitching it now. Super easy for my first.

Waves from the Buckeye state OHIO.

I spent lots of time in High Bridge. I went to Washinton often but that was many years ago. There was a turkey farm that was also a restaurant I can't remember the name, the best turkey dinner around, is it still there? Then Longurdos bakery ( that's probably spelled wrong) they had yummy cream puffs. Every special occasion cake was purchased from there. I loved the village and would shop there the day after Christmas. There was a pool store that sold christmas stuff once pool season was over. There was a fudge shop I would walk around the village eating fudge. You just brought back many happy memories to me.

You are right, first quilt, not even finished, and I am sucked in, I already have my next one planned, log cabin for my grandson with bear and deer.
