Hi Maxine, Welcome. I also taught myself to quilt and have been quilting for about 10 years. This forum is a great place to have your questions answered and learn from other quilters.

I am learning to quilt on my own too, (the classes are just too much money sometimes!) and I have learned an awful lot signing up for Konstintine's lessons. I have completed only one quilt so far, a sunshine sue for my youngest daughter, and it turned out okay. I now have alot of ufo's, and my husband grabbing a square to show me he can't cover up with it. Real crack-up.
