I hand quilt. The blue sampler was quilted a block at a time on my lap until I had 49 ready, sandwiched and quilted. Took a year.

The blue sampler came from the internet and old quilt magazines. I picked some that seemed simple and can't even tell you where they all came from.

The 50 fabulous paper pieced stars are from Carol Doak's book of the same name. For my knig quilt I made 50 blocks, used 49 for a 106 x106 quilt and made the last block into a pillow.

The Memories quilt came from one I quilted on here in our parish. It is a traditional around here with no pattern. Basically, the squares are 2" finished and you decide how many rows of squares you want bewfore adding sashing. I'll send you a couple more pics of the details.
