New to quilting board

Hi to all that love to quilt and everything that goes with it! I am a Grandma that loves to quilt and I have been doing some sort of sewing since I was old enough to hold a needle and thread. My Aunty gave me my first sewing machine at 11 years old and have been in love ever since. Hope that I meet some new friends here to share quilt ideas and have fun. I live on a ranch in mid South Dakota. Have 16 grandchildren. Have a wonderful husband who indulges me in my quilting maddness. :-)

Welcome from NY! This is a wonderful quilting forum and you are sure to make many friends. I have learned so much since joining and I had been quilting for at least 17 years when I discovered the QB. Lots of wonderful pictures and a very supportive group. And it always seems someone is on line no matter what time you post! Looking forward to seeing pictures of your work.

Welcome from Washington state. I love to hear about stories like yours and look forward to seeing pictures of some of your projects. I am very envious of you being a grandmother, especially of 16. Maybe some day.
