Default New to the quilting board

I am new to the quilting board. Thank you for excepting me. I sew typically four to five days a week. I enjoy making quilts and seeing what others have done. I am wanting to learn more about sewing machine quilting verses doing the quilting by hand. I have arthritis in my hands and trying it by hand aggravates it. I try not to let it get in my way. Each of my children have a quilt made by me so as to someday hand it down to one of their children.

Waving a big hello from NC. I know what you mean about your hands. Have you tried the Quilt-As-You-Go technique? I've just recently learned to do this and I LOVE it. It's all done on your machine, one block at the time. We have a really good tutorial by Sewbizgirl here on the Board. I highly recommend it. Good luck and we're happy you found us.

Howdy from Texas. We would love to see some pictures of the quilts you have made. As Libster said, the Quilt-As-You-Go method might be a good way for you to go. That way you don't have to struggle with quilting the entire quilt at one time. Jenny Doan had a good tutorial recently on how to do it also.

I've never tried that technique but want to on my next quilt.
You will find a lot of help from great quilters on this board. We are glad you are joining us!
