Hi Crafty,

I to am new to quilting and have recently moved to Pinehurst, NC, just down the road from Sanford. Can you recommend any quilting classes and or shops in the area to help me?

You obviously have a natural talent for quilting. Love the quilts.

Hi sewgirl,

The only quilt shop that I know of in Moore County in Linderella's located near the hospital there in Pinehurst. As far as quilt classes go, I have taken several at N. C. Agriculture Extension Service,. There is a guild that meets there. At the last class it was said that the next class would be held in February as an intermediate class. You might want to check with the ag center in Carthage and see if they offer any classes. There is a fabric shop in Fayetteville that offers classes, but they are too far away for me to drive at night.

Craftylady, Your quilts are beautiful. Quilting is an art form, not a craft. Much goes into quilting besides the construction, such as design and color. Looks like you are right on. Keep up the good work.
