Welcome, waving from Indiana, USA

table or sewing cabinet would be great

Be sure to get yourself a chair with wheels so you can sew, turn to right to press and to the left for a cutting station

good lighting

Also create yourself a design wall!

Have fun quilting and setting up your room

I found a great deal on a sewing table/desk at Joann's and they actually honored the 50% off coupon I had. It is white and opens up to house a machine as well as a good size side arm if you have a second machine or ironing board. The top surface opens up to 46" x 3-" and has a grid on it. Out the door was $119.00

Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.

Go into the search section and just write "sewing room". We have shown our rooms several times with lots of hints about efficiency.

You really should join the Yahoo Group "yoursewingroom" so you can look through hundreds of pictures for ideas.
