Hello from Western Maryland !!
I hand quilt, I have a Grace EZ frame from the Grace Company. It is adjustable. I really like it, search at top of page or google Quilting Frames.

I'm overwhelmed at the great welcome from so many. And thanks so much for all the advice regarding a quilting frame. I'll be spending more time with the search on this forum and more "window-shopping" before I buy another one. Thanks again!
Lannie

Hello from another Texan. I use a lap hoop one that has a flat bottom to put on my lap. I love it - it is about 14" hoop and I even quilt big quilts on it. I tried ones with the stand and with a frame, but with the hoop I can move it around and quilt in any direction. Some members here don't even use a hoop or frame and do what is called lap quilting (I think that is what its called). Glad you joined the board - this is a great place and everyone is so friendly and helpfull.

Happy Quilting!
Welcome aboard from another Texas lady. And I even know where Merkel is.
