Newbie but not a New Quilter
Hi everyone. I've been quilting on and off since the 1970's, and I am surely doing a lot more of it since I retired in November of last year.
I'm 58, married with two grown sons. I have two cats.
I'm a bit lost as far as quilting bees and such. I would love to find a daytime group here on Long Island, NY, but most of the published groups meet at night. So if anyone knows of any, please give me a shout out!
I look forward to exploring these boards and making new quilting friends. But for now, it's time to cook dinner.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I find watching Bonnie Hunter's Quiltcam is like having a sew along in your own sewing room. She is on tonight if you want to check it out at 9.00 pm. at www.quiltvilleblogspot.ca I am getting my blocks ready to stitch along and watch from my iPad later tonight.
