Welcome to the board. I can't answer your questions about the iron except to recommend that you use only distilled water in it. You won't get any of those nasty deposits, and the iron will last a long, long time and won't become, as Ricky Timms says, "incontinent". :mrgreen: :shock: Distilled water by the gallon is cheap, and it's a good investment to protect your iron.

I contacted the company today. Seems they quit manufacturing it and have no support - parts - manual etc. Oopsy, guess I will just have to make it last as long as I can and enjoy it.
