Smile No longer lurking in TN

Hi to all of you wonderful quilters! I have been reading and learning from this board for several months. I am recently retired and have picked up my love of quilting again. Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences and knowledge. Linda

Thanks for all your welcome notes. Many of you I recognize and have appreciated your quilting input. To the Texans....we will be leaving soon to winter in Texas about 20 miles north of Brownsville. Any advice on how to take quilting along with you in an RV? Maybe some new hand projects? Totally new experience for this city gal but looking forward to warm temps while folks here might be having ice and snow again this year. Linda

Welcome from NY!

If you have scraps, you can always do a yo-yo quilt. Takes up hardly any space and so is extremely portable.
