I've been working on my "memory quilt" for about 8 years now; but since I only work on it during my summer beach house vacations, it isn't surprising it is taking so long. I have finished the embroidery and all the hand applique, and I think I have the final placement worked out. I plan to begin assembly in a few weeks. Will keep you all posted on progress - this is a true labor of love; more love than labor...

Anyone else out there have a project like this - that has gone on and on for years??? I'd love to hear about it.

Although one of my beach trips in the evening I did get a friend to help me with cutting and sorting pieces! Glad you joined us.
