I'm a newbie from Salt Lake City. I'm also president elect of my quilt guild. I've been feverishly searching for great ideas of things to do in the guild next year. I would love any idea that anyone has to help me out!

Guest speakers, a mystery quilt weekend where everyone takes home a finished quilt, Quilt show. We do a service day where we make dolls for the Kiwanis, but you could do quilts for kids or other charities. These are just a few ideas. Good luck and congratulations. Bu the way Welocome from IN.

Welcome from Louisiana:) We just had a "sit n sew" last week everyone made a 10 minute table runner. It was fun and great to see all the color combinations. http://www.quiltingboard.com/search....er&u=&s=5&s=10
