Pretending to be a quilter
#1
Greetings from Grapevine, TX. We'll be here for two more weeks, then it's on to Talladega, AL. I've made several raggedy quilts... flannel, homespun and denim. It never occurred to me to photograph them. DUH! And I gave all of them as gifts.
Right now I'm drowning in blue jeans from my newly-svelt son (lost 100 pounds). So far I've made a lap quilt using Nancy Zieman's Star Spangled Patchwork (all denim front with all flannel back), a braided oval rug and an almost-done scrap rug. And my blue jean stack is still too tall.
I've been lurking around here for a while. It's very informative and inspirational. But it sure cuts into the stitching time. :-)

You title caught my eye as I too am pretending to be a quilter....I do manage to make one occasionally! Welcome from Vermont - congrats to your son on his weight loss! I think I found what he lost! (well, not quite that much)
