I have a Tin Lizzie 18LS that I've quiltied on for almost 3 years. It had a few bugs to begin with. I have a great dealer who worked through the problems. My TL is working very well now. There is a yahoo group for the Tin Lizzie that has lots of members and good advice. It's important that you have a good dealer. If you have problems (and all machine makes have some problems), it's good to have someone to turn to.

I am trying to make a decision about yet another machine. I am disabled and want a sit down long arm machine. I would love "George," but it is too expensive for me. I am considering Tin Lizzie 18 sit down model.

I was born, raised and live in central Virginia, but spent 25 years in Texas. Texas feels like home to me and I miss it.

Have you considered the Sunshine 16 as a sit down long arm. It is less expensive than most. There was an article in the 22nd Anniversary Issue of The Quilter Magazine that compared all the machines. My daughter has the Longarm of theirs and is very happy with them and their service.
