Have you considered the Sunshine 16 as a sit down long arm. It is less expensive than most. There was an article in the 22nd Anniversary Issue of The Quilter Magazine that compared all the machines. My daughter has the Longarm of theirs and is very happy with them and their service. Good luck.

I moved to Port Lavaca just in August. Welcome from Maryland. In my opion when looking for your machine, take your time and research before you buy. My hubby did that for me. He was not happy with the reviews on the Tin lizzy. I do not remember why. That was two years ago. Products do change. He bought me a Gammill. If your looking to use it commercially, check out the warranties. Some do not cover very long.
