I have been quilting for years, but this is my first ever joining a quilt group on line. I am a hand piecer and hand quilter. I collect 1930s and late 1800s fabric. I am currently working on an irish chain made out of 1" 1930s fabric. I'm 90% complete with my first art quilt, the cover of a Vogue magazine from 1918. Quilting is my saving grace. I would love to talk about any of the above topics.

Hi there. I'm a native Atlantan but now live out in Carrollton. I'm a very new quilter, have completed a few tops but haven't had the nerve to try quilting yet....maybe soon......

This board is awesome; I've learned so very much. I've learned things that I didn't know I didn't know !

Happy quilting !

Welcome from Tucker! Would you please post a picture of your 1918 cover quilt for us to enjoy? And if you haven't heard from greenini on this board, please send her your contact info by private message. A bunch of us Georgia quilters from this board met up in May and had so much fun! She'll be sure that you get contacted for the next one....
