Hi from Western Australia. Try Jane Wickham on about.com she has some great free quilt and block patterns, including baby quilts. Just finished a "chew and spew" myself, and cheated slightly - bought a great panel (cartoon Noah's ark) and made borders in small blocks. Looks great and the baby loved it!
