Blowing in from ND!
Greetings all you quilting people! I've been a lurker here on the QB site for many months!
I think I had a different user name before, but can't remember what it was, so I just decided that I'd start a new one and introduce myself! I live in Jamestown, ND, and it is Really, Really windy here! (hence my title! LOL!!) I enjoy quilting - when I can find the time - and I love antique sewing machines, both small, child size or the usable larger ones! I look forward to getting to know some of you! Karen :) |

Welcome from the Tampa Bay area. If it's windy and some snow is coming in, will that result in snirt? This is a good place to learn and share.

Hi Karen and welcome from Sunny Victoria, Australia.

Hello from West Virginia! I also love old sewing machines. Not sure when they become antique. I sew all my quilts on old Singers. I'm currently using my 401, getting ready to switch to the 500 (Rocketeer), and then the Featherweight 221. I go back and forth after a couple of months. I have a Singer Treadle, and used it when I sewed some polyester quilts together a few years back. These machines sure are workhorses!
