Bradford 7068
 

Brand new to using a sewing machine and I haven't even made a thing yet. I can't seem to find a manual for my machine. Also, the lower bobbin isn't working and the upper bobbin I don't even know where to put it. Any help would be great. I have been searching all over the web to no avail.

A little about myself. I am a 36yo married mother of 2 toddlers.3, and 4. I can see by hand but have only used a sewing machine with my mother when I was young. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you all and merry Christmas!

The link that ibex94 linked to has a very similar manual, but I found that they are substituting a Jones manual that is very similar. It does thread a little differently. It looks like the most of the other parts are the same. I think that your machine is like the one seen at https://www.etsy.com/listing/1085204...isting_details

I'm fairly certain I can figure out the upper threading path. The bobbin threading would be like the bobbin threading illustrated at http://web.archive.org/web/201504200...ng_diagram.htm

I'm not sure what the knobs are for on the top, but I would guess that the far left would be for the pressure for the presser foot, as it looks like the fabrics are on the knob. The next one that looks like a push button, might be for locking or unlocking the mechanism for the decorative stitches. The knob next would probably dial in the decorative stitches changing the indicator that is on the front of the machine next to the Bradford badge.

The top knob on the pillar is for the stitch length and the middle can be pushed to stitch in reverse. The lever below that is to change the needle position from Left, Middle or Right position. The lever below that is for the zig zag width, with stoppers so that you can vary between different widths. The knob on the bed at the base of the pillar raises and lowers the feed dogs so that one can darn, sew silk or regular sewing.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.
