Hello and welcome from east central Iowa. I'm fairly new, too, and I already like this place. This board is not getting my spring cleaning done. Just afraid I'll miss something. Ha!!!!

:-o Yes I must say I'm pretty blown away with the responses to my first 2 post and it looks like I'll really like it here- so much going on here on this site- I'm afraid I seem alittle 'snobby' if I replyed to everything and all I'd be 'networking ' 24/7!
I'm a member on a couple of other groups and sometimes you get a response sometimes ya dont. Thanks to all for the warm and friendly welcomes and interest shown about my work -oh and yes there is more of GMs stuff to be finished - I'm working with her 'eight-pointed stars' right now just stopped for the day. ~ Lee (sirstitchalot) |
Hi Lee and welcome to the board from Oregon. Penny

Lee, I hope you will post pictures when you get your next project done. Sounds like a great way to get into quilting - first a 'grandmother's flower garden' and all those hexagons, and now an eight-pointed star! Wow! It sounds as though your grandmother was a very accomplished quilter.

Hi Lee and welcome from Argentina! Nice to see another gentleman quilter come on board. You should like it here as there are several men who belong to the forum. Also because we all are a friendly bunch and like to share pictures and info.
I will go and look at things you have posted so I can see your work. Your Avatar is wonderful. |
Hello from Perth, Western Australia. Thanks for the explanation of what you have done with your Gran's work. I find it most interesting (not to mention educational) when people give a "story" with their work. Hope to see more of you on the board.

Hello and welcome from Michigan! I like seeing the men on here!!! So nice to see the stronger sex being creative!
