Hi everybody,
I am Anymart (nick, I won't bother you with my very Dutch name), a Dutch quilter, that has the focus on the US after visiting Houston international quiltfestival in 2007. Now I am getting to be a regular. Have visited Paducah, Houston twice and will be visiting Houston in 2012 again and built up a lot of great friendships there! Handquilter, I breath quilt, and I am happy to answer any questions about Dutch quilters! Or hand quilting, hand applique, anything. If I may ask you any stupid question about machine work!;-) For me quilting is life, it is fun and it is laughter. Without it, a quilt doesn't breath! How can you make a quilt without chocolate and some friends?;-) Hope to speak to you all here, or may be we meet on your or my blog. Have fun quilting! Anymart |

Welcome to the group, we live in Iowa, about twentyfive miles from Orange City, where there is a great tulip festival every year in May. Pella, Iowa, also has a lovely tulip festival. The downtown buildings in these towns have been planned to resemble a street in Holland. Perhaps you could visit one of these, sometime. piecefully, the old one
