I am sooo glad that they are!!! Quilting is a very
expensive hobby and if we can get our material
at a better price that is a real plus!!!

I sure hope they bring it back to our walmart, i don't know why they ever took it out, i have a theory: Men run walmart, want bigger sports and electronic departments so they take out the fabric and craft department, really upset the womenfolk so they bite the bullet and bring it back...........has to be

I went to one of my Walmarts and they had fabric. I stood around browsing for a very long time. Saw no one in area to ask questions, alot of the fabric had no prices on it. I almost thought they had it set up to cut on your own. I left without a thing.

There was an article in USA Today about it. It isn't just fabric they are bringing back.

Read on a stock market report that by Sept 2 or 7th, they will have fabric in 700 WalMart stores. Thank Goodness. They learned their lesson. I didn't go to walmart after fabric taken out, I usually was there to check something in fabric dept and thenoicked up what ever I needed in groc, dept etc. Once fabric left, I had no reason to go there. They lost alot from me because of them taking out fabric. Just hope that our WalMart is one of the 700.

I read several articles that said the head honchos at Walmart took out a lot of products that they thought were a waste of shelf space, but wound up losing LOT of money because customers only went in the stores for those particular products (i.e fabric), and would purchase other things only since they were already in the store. I hope they bring fabric back to my Walmart, but am not too hopeful since they expanded the automotive and sporting departments into the former fabric and craft area and the men around here just love hunting and fiddling with their trucks.

From this screen, look up to the Quilting Board info is. Under MY PROFILE click that. Scroll down to LOCATION. That is where you put Ohio (in your case)

Welcome from So. CA. Can't believe it is misting rain here. We NEVER see moisture from the heavens at this time of year.
