My husband and I are doing the snow bird thingy in Yuma Arizona and beleive or not I brought my sewing machine for the days we are not going out. I'm working on my first quilt (all by myself) and found it difficult to make the sash around each square. I'm doing a quilt as you go so that I could be finished before we make our way to Vancouver.

Here is my question, where can I find instruction on how to connect squares? Thank you so very much.

I can't help you with "quilt as you go" question, as I have not tried that yet, but if you go to either "search" at the top of the board home page, or down in the lists, try tutorials and see if someone hasn't posted a tute on quilt as you go. Welcome from Missouri. I also have an expensive Babylock embroidery machine. I find that I still use my very old Kenmore and my old Singer for making quilt tops. That way I don't have to take the embroidery unit off the Babylock. I can embroider and sew at the same time.
