Thank you all for the lovely welcome! And good to see another Aussie too. Not being able to sew has been frustrating - I have made curtains recently as that's just measure, pin then sew on the machine, but can't yet do anything more intricate. There are several quilts 'on the go' that I could be working on but they are all at the stage of needing fabric cut, and that I can't yet do.

Meantime........my sewing room has lovely new curtains!
