Good Morning!
I registered a few months ago, but then life got in the way (new job, moving, and most unfortunate was the computer gave up the ghost). I'm thrilled to be here and to learn about quilting. I'm a complete newbie at sewing - last time was about thirty years ago in school - but a friend got me hooked by seeing her beautiful quilts and I can't wait to learn! My name is Sharon, I'm from Colorado and am so glad to have found this forum and to meet all of you!

Hi Sharon, and welcome to the Quilting Board. I'm from Nevada. Don't worry about being a Newbie; we were all Newbie's at one time! And quilting is so great, so much fun, so creative, it just hooks you. Yes, you have to get through a bit of frustration of learning new skills. That passes. When it all starts to come together, it's just awesome!
And you've come to the right place. There is not a more understanding, supportive, or knowledgable group of quilters anywhere who are so eager to help and share what they know. Just remember, on this Board, there is no such thing as a dumb question. The only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked. So whenever you need help, just post a message and you'll get all the help and support you need. I promise you. Welcome Aboard! |

Hello there & Welcome to the Quilting Board from the state of Washington!!
:D :D :D :D |
Me too. Joined and then life gets in the way. I am off with my 14 yr old for a week and then I look forward to getting back into the swing of things. I am teaching a class at my sons school and that has been keeping me busy. Just showed a few ladies how to do the half square triangle trick and they made pot holders. I live in California on the coast and we have had wet chilly weather. Looking forward to summer!
