hi
I think it's another name for song or carol, not that I can sing mind you. My dad named me after the Miss Australia Nola Rose.
It,s a pretty old fashioned name. I was also born on Australia day, so I,m through and through Aussie.

Greetings from Rio Rancho, NM. I have been quilting for about 6 years and have so much to learn. I was interested in some of your swaps but i just had foot surgery so right now can't sew until i figure out how to keep my foot up. I can't put any weight on it and can't use crutches but in a wheel chair. I have lots of binding to do so I will keep busy for a while. would love to hear from people as I can't drive and stuck at home alot. I am anxious to learn alot about quilting which sounds strange if i have been quilting for 6 years but I am not very good. my name is Vicki Larsen i am not sure how to talk with anyone online but i am looing forward to it. i am married with 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. my husband works full time. have i written enough. thanks for listening. talk later

Hi Vicki. I can appreciate your limitations. Why don't you try an English garden using hexagons. Easy enough to cut and shape from a sitting position. It will keep you going for weeks.

hi,
depends on where he is going, but I know that Toowoomba has some nice quilt shops.
the wallibies tend to come out at dusk to graze on the new shoots of grass along side the roads. a lot of the wildlife is noctournal so you may have to visit one of the great zoos to see them.
